“Crush the Crave” is a Cipla initiative with a mission of building a Tobacco Free India! It is designed to help you quit using tobacco. As you may know, using tobacco can lead to increased risk of heart diseases, respiratory problems, dental issues and even cancer! No matter how old you are, quitting tobacco can benefit your health and overall wellbeing.

Nicotine is the main addictive substance present in cigarettes and other tobacco products. When you attempt to quit, cravings and withdrawal symptoms are major barriers which makes it difficult for you to stop using tobacco. This happens because of sudden stopping the supply of nicotine to your body.

However, you can manage withdrawal symptoms with help of some medications. Nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) is one of those which can help in the reducing cravings and withdrawal symptoms. Ask your doctor more about NRT to quit successfully.

About Nicogum

Nicogum is a chewing gum containing nicotine that helps people who smoke or chew tobacco and gutka quit the habit. It works on the proven principle of “Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT)”.

Nicogum does not contain tar and other harmful chemicals which are present in cigarette, tobacco & gutka.


Nicogum is available in two strengths, 2 mg and 4 mg.


4 mg: As advised or told by the doctor
2 mg: 8 – 12 pieces a day.
Do not use more than 24 pieces of gum a day.


The Method of chewing the gum is NOT the same as that for ordinary chewing gum. Use the steps given below to ensure maximum benefit from the gum.

    The chewing gum may stick to dental caps or partial bridges, so please consult your dentist if you find difficulty while chewing the gum
