Crush the Crave

“Crush the Crave” is a Cipla initiative with a mission of building a Tobacco Free India! It aims to assist you in learning more about association and impact of tobacco on oral health & more importantly in implementing tobacco cessation intervention in Dental practice.

This initiative includes this dedicated portal for learning modules which emphasizes the role of tobacco cessation intervention for better dental clinical outcomes. It also provides you with tools in the form of patient handouts and videos for better engagement with your patients & guides you on the approaches and interventions to tobacco cessation.

Tobacco use is one of the most common challenges encountered by HCPs today and most often, dentists are the first ones to spot oral effects of tobacco in their patients. Tobacco usage has deleterious effects on oral health, such as oral cancer, exacerbation of periodontal diseases, delay in wound-healing and interference with several dental procedures.

With your support, we are sure of helping tobacco users understand the benefits of quitting tobacco and building a tobacco free India.

Learning Modules

When it comes to using tobacco, oral health is adversely affected.
Tobacco instigates periodontal destruction and eventually makes the oral structures more susceptible to infection.
